You can find Avire over at Plot No. A-147 on Road No. 24. We are right in the middle of the Wagle Industrial Estate in Thane West. It’s a very busy area with trucks moving in and out at all hours of the day. The noise from the other manufacturing units nearby is pretty constant, but you get used to it after working here for a week or two. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. Inside, it's mostly just work benches and some tall storage racks filled with parts. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there from the old machines we used to use. It's not the kind of place where you wear a fancy suit or nice shoes. Most of us just wear old shirts that we don't mind getting dirty. Thane gets really humid during the monsoon, so we keep the big industrial fans running at full speed all day long. The office cabin in the corner has an AC that works most of the time, luckily. We handle a lot of different components here. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late in the evening and we have to stay back to unload everything by hand. It’s just how the industrial estate life goes. There's a small shop around the corner where we get our daily samosas and tea. Everyone knows everyone on Road No. 24. We don't have a big sign out front.
