Avion Building Automation

We are based out of Unit-103 in the Hyde Park building. That is part of the Rajashree Industrial Premises. It’s right across from Manpada, so it’s easy to find if you know the landmarks in the area. The place is mostly filled with wires, sensors, and different types of controllers stacked on shelves. We work on building automation, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at control panels. We try to figure out why a sensor isn't talking to the main system properly. It can get pretty technical, but mostly it's just a lot of troubleshooting. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have so much gear lying around. Sometimes we’re out at sites most of the day. Because of that, the office might just be one person handling the phone. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the other industrial units. It's not a showroom or anything fancy. It's a working space where we test out the tech before it goes into a building. We usually have a few half-finished projects sitting on the workbenches. If the door is open, someone is probably in the back soldering something or checking a schematic on an old laptop. It's steady work and it keeps us on our toes most weeks. We just keep at it and hope the circuits don't fry during testing. We do our best.
