Down here on Road No 21 in the Wagle Industrial Estate, things stay pretty loud and busy from Monday to Saturday. Ashida Electronics Pvt Ltd is located at Plot No A-308, right in the middle of all the other factories and workshops. It’s an older industrial area, so the roads aren't always the smoothest, but it’s where the work happens. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical side of electronics, keeping an eye on the assembly and making sure the parts are right. The building itself is functional. We have the workshop on one side and a bit of office space on the other. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running, but we've got enough fans going to keep it manageable. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the layout of the estate like the back of our hands. Lunchtime usually means heading out to one of the small stalls nearby for a quick bite before getting back to the benches. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or decorating the walls. We’d rather focus on the actual equipment we're putting together. It's a straightforward operation. We show up, we do the work, and we head home. There’s always a truck or two blocking the lane, but that’s just life in Wagle. We’ve got a good routine going now, and we just keep at it as well as we can.
