Our place is at Umrala, which people also call Vaidodi, out in Nalasopara West. It is Sunilsimon Gonsalves' spot. Being near the Post-Sopara area in the Vasai Taluka means we are surrounded by a lot of greenery but also a lot of humidity being close to the coast. It is a bit of a drive from the main Thane district hubs, but we like it here. The roads can get pretty muddy when the monsoon hits, making the logistics side of things a bit of a challenge. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments and making sure the loaders know the plan. It is a very local operation. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just shouting over the noise of a truck or checking a list against a clipboard. There are always people walking by on their way to the station or the market. Life in Nalasopara has its own pace, a bit slower than Mumbai but still frantic in its own way. We handle the logistics solutions as they come. Some days everything goes perfect, and other days we are chasing down a driver who took a wrong turn near the highway or got stuck in traffic. It is honest work and we have been at it for a while now. The office is just a place to sit and think about where the next load is going. We just try to get through the day.
