Arahant Social Welfare Foundation

Arahant Social Welfare Foundation is based out of room B/304 in the Oval Court Apartment. We’re located in Samle Pada, Umrale, which is out in the Thane area. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but it’s where we belong and where the work is. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a room on the third floor where we handle all our social welfare stuff and paperwork. We started this because we felt there was a real gap in the services provided around here. We aren't a big corporation with a massive budget or corporate sponsors. Most of what we do comes from our own hard work or small donations from neighbors who know us. The building is usually pretty quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on the endless paperwork. We’ve got a couple of old desks, a few chairs, and a lot of passion for what we do, even if we’re feeling pretty tired most of the time. Thane is a big place, and Umrale has its own unique set of challenges that we try to face as they come. There’s no grand plan, just a commitment to showing up every single day and trying our best. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we learn from them and just keep moving forward. If you happen to be in Samle Pada, you can stop by, but maybe call first because we might be out on a site visit somewhere else. We just want to be useful members of the community, nothing more than that.
