Ameer Ansari

Our work is based on the ground floor of the Shabbir Building in the Mahagiri area of Thane West. Most locals know the spot because Janta Store is right there nearby. It’s a convenient place to be because everything we need is within walking distance. The building is a typical Thane structure, not too new but still standing strong. Being on the ground floor means we don't have to deal with stairs, which is helpful when we are moving things in and out. The office space for Ameer Ansari is modest. We have a simple desk, a fan that wobbles a little when it’s on high, and some old chairs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they do the job for now. We have a lot of regular faces popping by since we are so close to the store. Mahagiri is a bit of a crowded neighborhood, so there is always the sound of children playing or bikes revving their engines. It’s a lively atmosphere that keeps us going through the day. We have spent many years in this spot and have become part of the local fabric. We open up early and usually stay until the Janta Store starts winding down for the night. It’s a straightforward life here in the Shabbir Building, and we like the familiarity of it all. It’s just how we work.
