AIRMAX REEDS PRIVATE LIMITED is located out in Bhiwandi. If you know the area, you know Dapode Road is always busy with trucks and people moving goods. We are over in the Jai Shree Ram Complex, specifically in Building I, Gala 108. It’s an industrial space, nothing too pretty to look at, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time dealing with reeds. It’s technical stuff but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machines and the warehouse. The building is usually full of activity since so many businesses are packed in here. We started this because we knew the industry well and saw a spot for ourselves. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We aren’t interested in those big corporate meetings. We’d rather just get the orders sorted and out the door. Sometimes the rain in Bhiwandi makes the roads a mess, but we still show up anyway. It’s a straightforward operation. We have a few desks and a lot of space for the stock. If someone asks what we do, we just say we make the parts that keep things running. It’s a practical business. No fancy lobby or coffee machines here, just the work and the people doing it. We’ve been in this gala for a bit now and it feels like the right place for us to stay.
