Abs Humanity Foundation

Our place is located out in the TTC Industrial Area in Khairane. We’re in Plot No. W 116 (A), which most people just call Abs House. Being in the MIDC zone means it’s pretty industrial around here, with lots of trucks and warehouses nearby. It’s not the most scenic part of Navi Mumbai, but it works for what we need. The Abs Humanity Foundation operates out of this building, and we’ve been here for a good bit of time. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy furniture because that’s not really what we’re about. Usually, you’ll find a couple of us here drinking tea and going over the day's tasks. The 400708 pin code covers a lot of ground, but we’re tucked away in a spot that’s easy enough to reach if you know where the main plots are. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially with all the concrete around, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. There’s always someone around to answer the phone or handle the mail. We’re just regular people trying to do some good from our base in Thane. It’s a quiet life inside the office even if the industrial area outside is noisy. We like the grit of this neighborhood. It feels like a place where things actually get built and done. It’s a practical spot for practical work.
