A K Tool

A K Tool is located right in Ganpati Pada, over in Digha. If you know the Old Belapur Road, you know it’s always got something going on. We are at House No. 324, which is part of Gat No. 282. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we like it. The workshop is where we spend most of our lives. There’s usually a bit of grease on the floor and the sound of metal hitting metal. We don’t have a fancy front desk or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone working on a machine or sorting through parts. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed around us. Digha is a gritty place, lots of small shops and people working hard. We fit right in. Our days are filled with measuring things and making sure the tools are in good shape. It’s loud and it’s often hot, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We handle the daily tasks as they come. Sometimes an order is small, sometimes it takes all week. We don't worry too much about the big picture, we just look at what’s on the bench today. It’s a simple setup. We drink our chai, do the grinding, and close up the shutters when it gets dark. It’s honest work and it keeps us going. Most of our tools go to other local businesses around here.
