Our office is tucked away in the Hot Palace Apartment building. It’s over in Kodeyeri, not too far from the Mooezhikara post office. Living and working around Thalassery means things move at their own pace. We started this consulting thing as a small group. We aren't in a big glass tower or anything like that. It's just a regular space where we meet and talk through things. Kannur is home for most of us, so we know the neighborhood well. People sometimes have trouble finding the flat number at first, but once you’re here, it’s comfortable enough. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through paperwork. It isn't always glamorous work, honestly. We deal with a lot of specific details that take a long time to sort out. Some days the fans are just pushing warm air around, but we get used to it. We don’t put on airs here. If someone comes by, they’ll probably see a few messy desks and plenty of tea cups. We just try to get the consulting work finished so people can move on with their business. It’s a quiet life in this part of Thalassery. We keep the files organized and try to stay on top of the requests that come in through the mail or phone. It’s just us doing what we know how to do without making a big fuss about it.
