Aj Architects

AJ Architects is based on the second floor of Haji Complex on AVK Nair Road in Thalassery. We are right near the Salafi Masjidh, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re in that part of town. Thalassery has a lot of history and a specific way of doing things, and we try to fit into that local rhythm. Our office is a quiet place where we spend hours drawing and looking at site plans. We aren't a massive firm with lots of branches. It’s just a few of us who enjoy the process of designing buildings that make sense for people. Being in the 670101 zip code means we’re close to the heart of the town. We see the rain come down hard during the monsoon and the streets get busy during festivals. We don’t use a lot of jargon when we talk to people. If someone wants to build something, we just sit down and talk about what they need. It’s a very grounded way of working. Architecture involves a lot of regulations and paperwork, and we handle all that without making a big fuss. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many houses and shops go up in the neighborhood. We take pride in the fact that we’re local people serving local needs. There’s no need for anything more complicated than that. We just do our work and go home.
