Our business is located in Thakurganj, which is part of the Kishanganj district. We have been running things from this same spot for a long time now. It is the kind of place where most of the locals know who we are, so we do not have to spend time telling people we are here. The day usually starts quite early for us, often before the sun is even fully up over the trees. We handle a variety of different tasks throughout the day, mostly focusing on the paperwork and keeping track of the stuff we have in the back. The office is a little bit old-fashioned and we still keep a lot of our ledgers by hand because it is just easier for us that way. Kishanganj can get incredibly humid during the summer, so we have the ceiling fans running at full speed all day long. It is not a fancy place with glass walls or shiny furniture. It is just a practical room where we get our work done and meet with people. Sometimes a customer will come in and we will spend more time talking about the local news than the actual business at hand. That is just how it goes in a small town like Thakurganj. We have a very small team and we have all worked together for years. We know the local roads well and how the deliveries move through the district at a steady pace.
