Roots India Ltd

Our place, Roots India Ltd, is located at Mission Chariali, right on National Highway-52. We’re very close to B.S Hospital, so there’s always traffic passing by at all hours. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust and noise from the trucks, but it also makes us easy to find if you’re traveling through. We started out here because it seemed like a good central spot. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle our daily operations. Inside, things are usually a bit chaotic with people coming in and out. We don't really have a big sign, but everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are. We've spent a lot of years dealing with the ups and downs of the local economy. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit of a mess, but we stay open regardless. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s paperwork or moving inventory. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy furniture. We just focus on the day’s tasks and making sure things get sent out. We keep a logbook by the door to track everything, and it’s filled with messy handwriting. The fans in the main room make a lot of noise but don't do much for the humidity. We’ve seen the highway change from two lanes to what it is now. Living and working near the highway keeps us on our toes, and there's never a dull moment at Mission Chariali.
