About Noor Hussain Commercial Artist – Safety & Security in Tezpur
My name is Noor Hussain and I’ve been working out of this spot at 283, K.C. Road for quite a few years now. It’s just a small space really, filled with brushes, old cans of paint, and sketches all over the place. People stop by when they need a sign for their shop or maybe some lettering done on a truck. It’s mostly hand work, though things have changed over time with how people want stuff to look. The street gets pretty busy during the day, so there's always someone popping in to ask a question or just to see what’s being painted on the floor that morning. I don't have a big team or anything, just me and occasionally someone helping out when the projects get too big to handle alone. Some days the floor is covered in wood shavings and other days it’s just drips of blue or red paint everywhere. It’s not the cleanest office you’ll ever see but it’s where the work gets done. Most of the folks around K.C. Road know the place by now. We don't really do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when someone sees a finished board outside. Sometimes the rain slows things down since paint takes forever to dry when it’s humid, but that’s just how it goes living here. I usually have a kettle going for tea if a neighbor drops by to chat while I'm finishing up a project. It's a simple way to make a living and I've stuck with it.
