Kiron Meters

Kiron Meters is on Hospital Road, which is always a bit of a hectic area with all the people coming and going. We work with meters, so our days are filled with numbers and technical checks. The shop has shelves lined with different types of equipment and tools that we use for testing. It’s not a very quiet environment because of the street noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time checking connections and making sure the readings are accurate. It’s practical work that doesn’t leave much room for errors. Usually, there is a bit of grease on our hands or dust from the old units we are looking at. We have a small desk where we keep the logs and the receipts. People stop by when they have an issue with their setup, and we take a look to see what is going on. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive, which can be a bit frustrating, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the technical side of things. We just stay focused on the task at hand and try to keep things moving. It's a steady routine here on Hospital Road.
