Air Force School

Our school is situated in Tezpur, not too far from the Sonitpur District headquarters. One of the main landmarks people use to find us is the Nuri Masjid, which is quite close by. Being an Air Force School, we have a certain connection to the base, but the feel of the place is very much tied to the local Tezpur environment. The weather here can be quite humid, so the school buildings are designed to let the air circulate as much as possible. It’s not a polished corporate campus. It’s more of a practical setup with functional rooms and a big open area for the kids to use. You can often hear the call to prayer from the masjid during the day, which is just part of the background noise here, along with the sound of planes now and then. The families who send their children here are a mix of service members and locals from the district. We don’t have a lot of fancy brochures or a dedicated marketing team. We just open the gates in the morning and get to work teaching the classes. The playground is a bit worn down from years of use, but it’s still the favorite spot for the students. It’s a straightforward school life here in Assam, where we just try to keep things running smoothly for the families in the area.
