Veejeta Exim

Down here in Pavoorchatram, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities, but we stay just as busy at Veejeta Exim. We operate out of 13 / 23, Chitra Illam. It’s a sturdy building and it’s become like a second home to most of us. Tirunelveli is a beautiful part of the world, and we feel lucky to be working here. Our day usually starts with checking the messages that came in overnight from different time zones. Since we handle exports, we’re always looking at clocks and shipping schedules. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. We have wooden desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of maps on the walls. The local tea here is excellent, and we usually take a break in the afternoon to have a cup and talk about things other than work. We’ve got a small, tight-knit crew. Most of us have lived in this district our whole lives. We know the local roads and the people around here very well. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the weather turns, but we manage to get things done. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just want to do our jobs properly and make sure our goods get to where they’re going. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. It’s just us here at Chitra Illam, doing our daily rounds.
