THIRUVENGADAM KRISHNNAS CHIT PRIVATELIMITED

Our office is right on the Main Road here in Thiruvengadam, at 5/2A/2. It is on the way to Rajapalayam, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and lorries passing by. The building is easy to spot if you are looking for it, but nothing too special. We spend most of our day sitting behind the counter. People from the nearby villages and the town stop in to talk about their chit cycles. We have a couple of wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. Tirunelveli heat can be quite something in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze. We do a lot of manual entries in our books. It is just how we have always done things. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road traffic, but we sweep it out every morning before we start. Most of the families around here know us because we have been at this spot for some time. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. Just a local group making sure the monthly pots are handled correctly and everyone gets their turn. Sometimes we stay late when it is auction day because there is a lot of talking and calculating to do. It is mostly regular faces we see month after month. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a bit loud, but we are used to it.
