Shakthi De Addition Hospital

Shakthi De Addition Hospital is located at 306 Kalakodi Street. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main roads, which I think is better for what we do. The street itself is narrow and you have to watch out for the bikes zooming by. The building is an older one, number 306, and it has that old-fashioned look to it. We deal with people who are going through some really tough times here. It isn’t an easy job, and the atmosphere can feel a bit heavy some days. We keep the rooms simple. There aren't any bright paintings or expensive rugs on the floors. Most of our day is spent talking to families and trying to manage the schedule. Sometimes people show up without an appointment and we have to figure out how to fit them in. The water cooler in the hallway is probably the most popular spot in the whole place. We go through those big blue plastic bottles pretty fast. The staff has been around for a bit, so we all know how the routine goes. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or by walking down Kalakodi Street. It’s a lot of sitting and listening, then doing the paperwork that comes after. It’s just how things are here at the hospital every day, keeping the place running and seeing to whoever comes through the door.
