Seyad Residential School

Seyad Residential School is tucked away on the Five Falls-Llanji Road. Since we are a residential place, the rhythm here is a bit different from other schools you might see in the city. People actually stay here overnight, so it never really gets completely quiet. We have P B No 6 as our mailing address, but mostly people just know us by the road we are on. Being near the falls means the air can feel a bit different, especially when the seasons change and the water is flowing. The road out front leads toward Llanji, and it’s a nice enough area, though it can feel a little isolated at times when the sun goes down. The staff here are more like caretakers because we are around the kids all day and all night. We eat our meals together in the common hall and walk the same hallways every single day. The buildings have seen some wear and tear over the years, but they hold up well enough for our needs. You’ll often find us fixing a leaky pipe or painting a wall during the summer breaks. There is no big marketing team or PR firm here; it’s just us trying to keep the place clean and functional for the students who live with us. In the evenings, it’s mostly about making sure everyone is settled in and safe. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s just the job.
