Kmp Bricks

We are located at 4/156 on the Main Road in Idaikal. If you are driving through this way, you probably saw the piles of red bricks sitting near the edge of the road. It has been our spot for many years now. The traffic goes by pretty fast so we have to be careful when we are backing the tractors out of the driveway. It is mostly outdoor work here. We spend the whole day out in the dirt and the sun. Our hands are always stained a bit orange from the clay we use. There is no air conditioning in our workspace, just the breeze if we are lucky enough to get one. Most people just pull over and talk to us through the window of their truck when they need something. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If we are in the back working, you might have to shout a bit to get our attention over the noise. Idaikal gets very hot in the summer and the ground gets really hard under our boots. We make sure the stacks stay straight so they don't topple over in the wind. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes over to sleep under the shade of the bricks. We just keep doing what we know. It is a simple life and the work is heavy but it gets done. We handle everything right here on the main road from dawn until the light fades.
