Global Trading

Our place of business is at 63A on North Car Street. We are very close to the Bombay Store, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. North Car Street is a lively place to be. There is always something happening, whether it’s a local festival or just the usual daily rush. At Global Trading, we keep our operations very modest. We don't have a big showroom or any flashy lights. It’s just a simple shop with a lot of shelves and a small area for us to sit. We have been here for a good number of years now. We know the other shop owners on the street and we often share a tea in the afternoons. The building is a bit old-fashioned and the floors are a little uneven in places. We spend most of our day-to-day life dealing with deliveries and chatting with the people who come in. We don’t follow any corporate scripts or have a mission statement on the wall. We just try to be helpful and do our jobs well. Sometimes the street gets so crowded that it’s hard for the delivery trucks to get through, but we manage. It’s a nice community to be a part of. We aren't looking to grow into a massive company. We just like being a local presence here and providing what people need from this street.
