Ets Rice Stores

Ets Rice Stores is over here at 567 in Laxmipuram. It is not a huge place but we have enough room for all the different bags of rice we keep. Most of the day is spent hauling heavy sacks around and making sure everything stays dry. Laxmipuram is a decent area to work in and we have been at this spot for several years now. When you walk in you will see stacks of sacks piled up nearly to the ceiling. It is mostly just me and a couple of guys helping out with the lifting because those 25kg and 50kg bags are no joke on your back. We get all kinds of people coming in from the neighborhood. Some just want a small bag for the week and others buy in bulk for big family events. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grain that spills out but we sweep it up when we get a chance. It gets hot in the afternoons because the shop faces the sun, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. We don't do any fancy delivery stuff, people just come by and pick what they need. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We know most of the regulars by name and what kind of rice they prefer for their cooking. That is how things go here at 567 Laxmipuram every day of the week.
