Arumugam Traders

Our place is over at Door No-200/15 in Tenkasi. It’s a simple trading business we’ve got running here. Tenkasi is a nice town, and we’ve been part of it for a good while. The shop isn’t anything too big, just enough space to keep the items we trade and a small area to sit and talk with whoever walks in. We deal with various goods, and the inventory changes depending on what people are asking for or what we can get a hold of. It’s mostly just day-to-day work, checking the stock and talking to suppliers. The building itself is older, with the kind of walls that stay cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the street gets crowded with people going about their business, and we just watch the world go by from the front door when things are slow. We don't use any fancy systems, just a simple book to keep track of what goes out and what comes in. It’s a very local way of doing things. People know us by name, and we know theirs. That’s how it works in a place like this. We aren't trying to be the biggest around, just trying to keep the doors open and provide what the town needs. Every day is pretty much the same, and we like the routine of the morning deliveries and the quiet afternoons.
