Srinivas General Store

The store is right here in Kothapet, Mangalagiri, and it’s been a part of the daily routine for a lot of people living nearby. We open up early in the morning, usually before the sun is fully up, to get things ready for the first customers. Srinivas General Store isn’t a huge supermarket, it’s just a local place where you can grab the basics. We stock everything from snacks and grains to small household items that people run out of. The shelves are a bit tight, and we try to squeeze in as much variety as possible. Throughout the day, kids come in for sweets after school, and neighbors stop by to pick up stuff for dinner. It’s a lot of small talk across the counter, mostly about the weather or local news. We spend time restocking the milk and bread every day. It’s a simple way to make a living, just being here when someone needs a pack of matches or some tea leaves. Sometimes it gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We don't have any fancy displays, just the usual jars and packets you’d expect. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside, but we make it work. Just a regular shop in a regular neighborhood.
