Sri Vasavi Traders is situated on the Main Road in Chindur, which is in the Guntur district. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Society Office. That is the place where everyone gathers, so it makes it easy to explain where we are. Chindur is a small town and things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. We deal with various trading items and our day usually starts pretty early in the morning when the sun is just coming up. The Main Road gets some traffic with tractors and motorcycles passing by all the time. Guntur is known for its heat, so we try to get most of the heavy work done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. Our shop is quite simple and we have been in this location for a good amount of time. People from the nearby villages often stop by when they have errands at the society office. We talk to them about the weather or how the crops are doing. It is not a formal environment at all. We sit on plastic chairs and keep a ledger of what comes in and what goes out. Sometimes the internet is slow so we have to do things the old way with pen and paper. It’s a decent life here and we like being part of the local community in this corner of the district.
