Royal Mutton Dum Biryani Centre

We are situated on Trunk Road, right near the old bus stand here in Mangalagiri. It’s a spot where a lot of people stop when they are heading into Guntur. The kitchen is always busy, especially around lunchtime when everyone is hungry for biryani. We focus on the mutton dum biryani, which we cook in big pots every day. The tables are just basic wood and metal, nothing fancy to look at. It can get pretty hot in the dining area when the sun is out, but we have some fans going. We serve the food on plates with some onions and lemon on the side. The floor gets a bit messy when it’s crowded, but we sweep it down when we can. People from all over Mangalagiri come by, or they just grab a parcel to take home. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, so most locals know where to find us. The meat comes in fresh every morning from the market nearby. It is just a simple food joint, nothing like those big city restaurants. We don't have a menu with a hundred things on it, just what we know how to make. Parking out front on the road is a bit tight with all the buses and scooters going by. You might have to walk a little way if you have a car. The smell of the spices hits you as soon as you get near the door and it stays in your clothes.
