Dvr Bricks

Our place is over at 2-12-17 in Kollur Village. We have been making bricks here for a long time now. It is a pretty quiet village and our brickyard has been a part of it for years. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us and the land we work on. The job is mostly outdoors and involves getting dirty with mud and tending to the fires in the kilns. We spend our days molding the bricks by hand or with simple tools and then waiting for them to dry out in the sun. It is a slow process and you cannot really rush it if you want the bricks to stay strong. We sell mostly to people living in and around Kollur. The yard is not very tidy because there are piles of bricks and raw clay everywhere. We do not bother with a fancy office space because we are usually out in the yard working anyway. It is a tough way to make a living, especially when the weather is bad. We have had some years where the rain just would not stop, which makes it impossible to fire the kilns. But we just keep going. Most of the people in the village know who we are. We do not do any big promotions. We just keep making bricks like we always have.
