Acharya Silpasala

Acharya Silpasala is situated at 3-62121 on Telephone Exchange Road, right where it meets Wahab Road. Our workshop is usually a bit cluttered with all sorts of things we’re working on. It’s a local place, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. We do a lot of traditional work here, the kind that takes time and a bit of a steady hand. The noise from the road outside is pretty constant, but once you get into the rhythm of the work, you don't notice it as much. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the materials. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while we plan the next project. Other days we’re working late into the evening because something needs to be finished. The walls are covered in old sketches and bits of tools we’ve collected over the years. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the shop because the work speaks for itself. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. If you’re looking for us, just head down Wahab Road towards the exchange and you’ll find us. We don’t really use the internet much for business; we prefer it when people just stop by for a chat about what they need. It’s a simple setup but it’s ours.
