Rohit Exports

Rohit Exports is based out of Tembhurni, which is in the Madha Taluka of the Solapur district. Being out here in a place like Tembhurni is different from being in a big city office. Our setup is pretty simple and closely tied to the local area. We handle the exporting side of things from a small office that’s basically just a room with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. There isn't a lot of noise here like you’d find in Mumbai or Pune, except for the occasional tractor or truck passing by on the main road. Most of our work involves coordinating with local suppliers and making sure the products are packed correctly for transport. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don't have a big website or a team of marketing people. It’s mostly just family and a few local workers who help us out when things get busy. The power goes out sometimes, so we’ve learned to work around the local schedule. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and everyone around here knows who we are and what we do. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We focus on getting the paperwork done right and making sure the goods leave on time. It’s a quiet life, but the work is constant and it keeps us occupied throughout the seasons. We don't need much more than our office and a reliable phone line.
