Sindhus Ice Cream

People around Kashibugga usually find us right across from Malleshwar Rao Hospital. We've been here at Subadra Nagar for a while now. It is just a small spot where we keep the freezers running all day. The weather in Sri Kakulam gets really heavy and hot, so there is always someone coming in looking for something cold to eat. We don't have fancy lights or big signs. It’s mostly just us making sure the containers are full and the floor is clean. The morning starts with checking the temperature of the units because if the power goes out, we have to move fast. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially with the hospital nearby. We see a lot of families walking by in the evenings. They just want a quick cup or a stick of ice cream before heading home. We keep the usual flavors that everyone knows. There is nothing complicated about it. It can get a bit messy when the kids are around, but that is just how it goes. We spend a lot of time just restocking the bins and talking to the regulars who live in the neighborhood. It is a simple job, really. We stay open until the evening rush dies down and then we shut the shutters and go home. It is not a big corporate thing, just a local shop in a busy part of town. We are just here doing our thing day after day.
