Mother Theresa Degree College

Our college is pretty easy to find since we are right near the RTC Complex here in Tekkali. Being in Srikakulam, we get students coming in from all the nearby villages and towns. It’s a busy area with the buses constantly moving, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The building itself has been around for a bit and we have different classrooms for the various degree subjects we offer. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are part of the local community. It’s not a flashy place, just a regular college where students come to get their degrees and move on to whatever is next for them. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork and admissions. Sometimes the power goes out or things get a bit dusty because of the road, but we just deal with it. Students hang out in the corridors between classes or near the entrance. It feels like a standard part of life here in Tekkali. We try to keep the schedules on track, though sometimes things run a bit late. It’s a practical place for learning. You can see the college as soon as you get off the bus at the complex. We have been helping local kids get through their studies for a while now without making a big fuss about it. It is just a straightforward place for people to get their education.
