We’re over at Plot-1000A, near Virbhadra Akhada in the Dawn area. This is where Longlife Leather Overseas Private Limited runs things. It isn't a massive factory or a shiny office tower. It's just a place where we handle leather goods and get them ready for shipping. A couple of us started this because we knew some people in the trade and figured we could make a go of it ourselves. Some days are just spent looking at samples and checking for scratches or bad dyes. Leather is a tricky material, and you have to be careful with it. We try to keep it simple. We don’t have any fancy posters on the walls about being the number one company. We just do the work, pack the crates, and hope the rain doesn't get inside. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We’ve been at this for a while now and we know what we’re doing, even if we still make small mistakes sometimes. That’s just how it goes when you’re a local business.
