Ss Trading

Our place, Ss Trading, is over at No. 102 Green Avenue, right on Street No. 2 off Chabal Road. We are pretty close to the Amritsar Bye Pass and the Deep Pop landmark, which most locals know. It’s a practical location for a trading business because it’s easy to get to from the main road for the transport trucks. The office is basically just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of registers. Out back is where we keep the stock. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a working warehouse where things come in and go out every single day. I spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the latest manifests. The floor is concrete and can get a bit cold in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater going. We don't really do anything flashy here. It’s just about moving goods from one place to another and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the bye pass, which can be a bit of a headache for our schedule. But that is just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve been here in Green Avenue for a bit and have gotten to know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a busy little area. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the inventory moving without any big problems or delays.
