Global Foods

Out here in Village Nangal Pannuwan, things move at a different pace than the city. Global Foods is located right on the Sohian Kalan Link Road, which connects us to Majitha. It’s a dusty stretch of road, especially when the tractors are moving back and forth during the harvest months. Our place is basically a large shed and an office area where we handle everything. You can see the fields from the back window, and depending on the time of year, it’s either green or gold out there. We’ve been part of this Tehsil for years, and most folks around here know where to find us if they need anything. The building has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit near the gate, but it does the job. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the fans and someone talking on the phone to a supplier. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone in suits. It’s just us in our work clothes, making sure the food items are moving where they need to go. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the porch for a bit until it comes back. It’s a simple life, and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We just work the land and the road we were given.
