Baba Deep Singh Ji Farmers Producer Company Limited is over in Patti, specifically in Ward Number 07 near Peera Shah. We named ourselves after the great martyr because he is a big part of our history here in Tarn Taran. Our village setting means we are close to the people we serve. We aren't some big business from Chandigarh or Delhi. We are local farmers from Patti. The office is located right in the village area, which makes it easy for everyone to stop by after they finish in the fields. We handle a lot of the group buying and selling so that individual farmers don't have to struggle alone. It’s a lot of work and sometimes the paperwork is a real headache. We don't have any polished speakers or sales people. We just speak the way we do at home. Dealing with crops and weather is a gamble every year, but doing it together makes it a bit more manageable. We spend our days talking about wheat, rice, and whatever else is in season. The area around Peera Shah is a tight community and we are proud to be part of it. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. Our money goes back into the farming work. It’s just us trying to make a living and looking out for our neighbors in Tarn Taran the best way we know how.
