B. D. S. Impex

B. D. S. Impex is right there on Railway Road, at Sc 08. We are pretty much directly opposite Gandhi Park, so we get to see the greenery every day, which is a nice break from the grey of the road. It’s a busy spot because of the railway station nearby. You can always hear the trains coming and going, and the sound of the traffic is just something we’ve learned to ignore. Our space is mostly filled with samples and shipping containers. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s just a small group of us here, and we’ve worked together for years. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone at a desk surrounded by boxes. We handle a lot of different things coming in and going out, so no two days are really the same. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it a bit slow, but we keep the fans going and push through. We don't bother with marketing talk or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a local operation doing our best to keep the business running smoothly. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
