Ashok Cold Drinks

Ashok Cold Drinks has been around for a while now, right here at Adda Nag Kalan on Majitha Road. Most people know the spot because we’re so close to the old bus stand. It’s a handy location for us since folks are always coming and going from the buses and need something cold to drink. The shop is pretty basic, nothing too special to look at, but we keep the fridges running. We spend most of our time stacking bottles and making sure the crates are organized. It can get pretty loud with the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in Nag Kalan. My family helps out sometimes when things get extra busy during the summer months. We don’t have a big office or anything, just the space here where we store everything. Sometimes the delivery trucks take up a lot of room on the road, so we have to move fast. It’s hard work, especially moving those heavy glass bottles around all day. We just focus on getting the drinks out to the people who need them. People stop by for a chat while they grab their stuff, which is nice. It’s a small local business and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day.
