Sangeeta Marble

Sangeeta Marble is what we call our place here in the Kothari Warehouse, specifically at P-9/B1. It’s a big 27-acre area off Tikujini Wadi Road in Manpada, Thane. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of warehouses and storage units. We’ve got a decent amount of space for our marble slabs. It’s mostly just moving things around with the crane and making sure nothing gets cracked. Thane is a busy place, and Manpada has grown a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much about the stone. We spend the day checking the inventory and talking to contractors who come in to pick out slabs for their projects. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the warehouse gets pretty hot when the breeze isn't blowing through. We’ve been in this warehouse for a while, and we know our neighbors well. It’s a community of people just trying to get their work done. We don't go in for big marketing plans or fancy slogans. We just have the marble here, and when someone needs it, they come to the warehouse. We open up early, get the gates moved, and start the day. That’s how it goes for us. It’s just a matter of getting the right slab to the right person without any fuss. We stay busy enough without needing to be fancy. The trucks come and go all day and we just keep up with the pace.
