Gobind Rice Mills

You can find Gobind Rice Mills on Dhablan Road. We are specifically located in Kheri Goddian. It’s a small place but we keep ourselves occupied. The road outside is where all the action happens with the tractor-trolleys lining up. We’ve got the milling equipment inside the main shed. It’s nothing special to look at, just a functional workspace. The floors stay dusty no matter how much we sweep. Kheri Goddian is where we live and work, so we know everyone who comes by. We handle the paddy as it comes in from the fields. It’s a lot of lifting. My back feels it at the end of the day. Dhablan Road gets quite busy during the peak months. We have a small crew here. We don't have any big corporate slogans or fancy brochures. We just run the machines and pack the rice. The smell of the husk is always in the air. Sometimes we have to work through the night if there’s a big order or if the weather is turning. We keep the machines running as long as we can. Maintenance is usually done on Sundays when things are a bit quieter. It’s a simple life at the mill. We focus on the grain and the bags.
