Tagore Secondary School

If you find yourself in Ward No. 11 over in Pithisar, you’ll probably see Tagore Secondary School. It’s a local spot here in the Churu district. We’ve been part of this community for years, and the building has seen a lot of students pass through its doors. Churu gets incredibly hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter, so we are always adjusting things to keep the rooms comfortable for the children. It’s not a massive campus, but it fits what we need. We mostly focus on getting through the books and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. Pithisar is a quiet place, mostly, though the school gets loud once the classes start. We don’t use any of those fancy modern teaching gadgets you hear about in the big city schools. Instead, we rely on chalkboards and textbooks. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are all neighbors. You might see us walking to work in the morning. We take care of the grounds ourselves mostly. It’s a lot of work keeping a school running in this part of Rajasthan, but we manage. People know us as the place where their kids go to learn their basics. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the gates every morning and do our jobs until it is time for everyone to go home to their families.
