Baba Panchanan Enterprise

Our place is in Goghat, right in the Hooghly district. It is a busy little area and we are just one of the many shops and businesses lined up along the way. We keep things simple here at Baba Panchanan Enterprise. The building is nothing special to look at, just a regular shopfront where we handle our daily business and keep our records. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in for whatever they need. Some days are very slow, especially when it is raining hard or when the sun is too bright for anyone to be out on the road. We have a small desk and a few chairs for visitors. The fan keeps humming in the corner but it doesn't do much when the humidity is high. My neighbor runs a tea stall and he brings us a cup every few hours. We don't have any fancy displays or big advertisements. Most people who come here are regulars from the town or nearby villages. We just get on with the work and try to finish everything before the evening market gets too crowded. Sometimes the internet is slow so we have to do things the old way with paper and pen. It is just a normal life running a small enterprise in a place like this. We don't try to be anything we are not or sound like a big company.
