Vikash Variety

We are located at Kadodara Sathe Wada on Laxmi Road. The name Vikash Variety pretty much says it all. We have a bit of everything on the shelves—stationery, small household items, toys, and snacks. It is the kind of place where you might come in for a pen and leave with a bucket or some biscuits too. The aisles are narrow because we try to fit as much as possible into the space. Laxmi Road is a busy area, so we get a lot of foot traffic. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to figure out where to put the new items. Sometimes things get hidden behind other things, so we have to go hunting when someone asks for something specific. It is a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We know most of the people who live in the Sathe Wada area by name. They stop in to chat even if they do not need to buy anything. We have a small ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. It is not a fancy department store, just a local shop where we work every day. We open early and close late, and that is just the way it has been for years. We do not have any big plans to change things, we just want to keep the shop running for the neighborhood.
