Real Juices

Real Juices is located in Unchamala Village, right near the bus stand and the Anumala Post Office. We are in the Vyara Taluka part of the Surat District. Being so close to the bus stand means we are always seeing new faces. People waiting for their buses often come in for a cold drink to escape the heat. We have a few wooden benches where they can sit for a bit. The shop is quite basic with a concrete floor and some shelves for the glasses. We mostly have local fruits like mangoes when they are in season and lemons all year round. The buses kick up a lot of dust, so we have to keep the fruit covered with a thin cloth. It is a family business, so my kids sometimes help out after school. We don't have any fancy equipment, just a couple of standard mixers and a manual press. The post office workers come by for their break too. It is a busy little corner of the village. We have been here for many years and everyone knows where to find us. We don't have a telephone in the shop, so people just show up. We just keep doing what we do, making juice and chatting with the travelers. It is a lot of standing around, but we are used to it by now.
