L & T Integrated Engineering Services

Our office for L & T Integrated Engineering Services is situated in L&T Knowledge City, right in the SEZ area. We are on the 4th floor of the West Block, which looks out toward N. H. No. 8. Being near the highway is great for the commute, though the traffic can be a real pain during peak hours. The Knowledge City is a massive place, so it took some of us a while to stop getting lost when we first started. It’s an IT and engineering hub, which means there are thousands of people around. Our floor is usually buzzing with people staring at monitors and talking about technical specs. It’s a professional environment, but we try to keep it relaxed within our team. We have a small pantry where we all gather for lunch and complain about the commute or talk about the weekend. The engineering work we do is pretty detailed, so it requires a lot of focus. Even though it’s a big SEZ, it feels like its own little world once you’re inside the gates. We don’t really interact with the public much, as most of our work is for specific projects. The view of the highway is a constant reminder of how fast everything moves outside. We just keep our heads down, work through the designs, and make sure everything is technically sound before we call it a day. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes.
