Wonder Kids

We are located in Teachers Colony in Tanuku. It is a quiet residential area, which is really nice because it keeps the heavy traffic away from the little children. Wonder Kids is a place for the local kids to start their very first years of learning. We have toys spread out, colorful drawings taped to the walls, and small chairs that actually fit the children. It is not a big corporate institution with lots of rules. It is more of a neighborhood spot where parents feel comfortable dropping their kids off in the morning. We spend the hours playing simple games, learning the alphabet, and singing songs together. It gets quite messy sometimes, especially when it is time for snacks or doing crafts with glue and paper, but that is expected with this age group. The teachers here are mostly mothers themselves, so they have plenty of patience for the job. We aren't trying to follow some high-end international curriculum. We just teach them how to share with others, how to sit still for a few minutes, and the basic things they need before they eventually go to a bigger school. The building is simple and looks like many of the other houses in Teachers Colony. You can usually hear the kids laughing from the street if you walk by. We have been part of this community in Tanuku for some time now.
