Srinivasa Rice Mill

You will find Srinivasa Rice Mill at Door No. 3-21 in Tanuku. We are tucked right behind National Highway No. 16. It is a very convenient spot for transport, though being right behind the highway means there is never a moment of true silence. You get used to the sound of the heavy trucks rolling by on the 16. Our mill has been operating in Tanuku for a long time. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the milling area, the storage, and a small space where we handle the records. It gets incredibly hot here, especially in the summer months, and the heat from the rice processing machines doesn't help much. We just drink a lot of water and keep moving. We don't have any polished marketing or anything like that. We are just a local mill where we work with our hands and the machinery we’ve had for years. People find us because they know the door number or they’ve seen us from the highway. We’ve built a steady life here in Tanuku. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the rice and making sure the loaders are doing their job. It’s a lot of physical work and the hours can be long, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to process the rice properly and keep things running behind the highway.
