Prabhu Marbles & Granite

Started out years ago here in West Godavari on Society Road. It is just a place where we keep the stones. Most days it is quite hot under the tin roof but that is just how it is. We have slabs leaning against the walls and sometimes it gets crowded when a new truck arrives. People come by and look at the granite. We show them what is in stock and tell them the price. There is no fancy showroom here. Just the yard and the office. We spend a lot of time checking the edges of the marble pieces. Sometimes the rain makes the ground muddy and we have to be careful with the crane. It is hard work lifting these things all day. My brother helps with the accounts while I stay outside. We know the neighbors around Pl.No.5-12 well enough. Sometimes we share tea when it is quiet. The traffic on Society Road is steady but not too bad compared to the main city. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what a person is looking for without moving twenty slabs. It is a simple way to make a living. We do not have a big website or anything. If someone needs stone for their floor or a kitchen top, they just walk in. We talk, we measure, and they decide if they like it. That is about it for our daily life here.
