Srinivasa Metals Industries

Srinivasa Metals Industries is based at Plat F 22 in the Industrial Estate of Indira Nagar, which is part of the Godavari District. The air here usually feels a bit heavy because of the river and the humidity but we are used to it. Our workshop is filled with the sound of metal being moved around. We have all sorts of scraps and sheets piled up in the corners. It is a noisy place but that is the nature of working with metal. The Industrial Estate is a hub of activity and there is always someone passing by or a truck loading up nearby. We spend our time at the benches or operating the machinery. The metal gets hot during the day so we have to be careful how we handle things. We have been in Indira Nagar for a good while and have seen the estate change over the years. It is a practical space without any unnecessary decorations. We just have our equipment and the materials we need to work with. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We take our breaks when we can and usually find a spot in the shade. The work is steady and we just keep our heads down and get through the daily list of things that need doing before the sun goes down over the Godavari.
