Meraj & Company

Being located at house number 211 in Shantinagar Colony keeps us right in the heart of the Indira Nagar community. Meraj & Company has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a while now. It’s a residential area mostly, so we have to be careful not to make too much noise early in the morning or late at night. The office is basically just a room at the front of the building that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s a bit small, especially when we have more than two or three people inside at once. We have shelves lining the walls filled with files and some old samples of the things we deal with. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a real headache for anyone visiting. We usually tell people to leave their cars at the corner and walk down. We know most of the people who live on this block, so there’s a lot of waving at neighbors through the window while we’re on the phone. It’s a friendly kind of place to work. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. I usually wear my sandals and a regular shirt. We have a small tea stall just a few houses down that makes the best ginger tea, and we probably spend too much money there. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just a steady stream of small tasks that keep us occupied from Monday to Saturday.
